Nurse Manager

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Chicago, Illinois
Day shift: 5x8s, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Weekends as needed, with no more than 1 weekend shift per month
24/7 accountability
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Oversees daily operations, patient care quality, and staff for neonatal intensive care, PICU, and pediatrics
Responsibilities include hiring, scheduling, budgeting, policy development, compliance, and supporting care for critically ill pediatric patients and their families
Works closely with neonatologists, pediatric specialists, and other staff

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
Manager experience (2 years)
Manager experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing
Bilingual
