Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technologist

Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform or assist in ultrasound examinations.
• Provide technical assistance to Radiologists.
• Maintain, operate, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment.
• Prepare and examine patients according to established procedures.
• Ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Capture images onto PACS and transfer to physicians' workstations.
• Assist in orientation and mentoring of new Ultrasound personnel.
• Handle scheduling and communication tasks related to examinations.
• Follow safety precautions to protect patients and personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software.

Shift

• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
