Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform or assist in ultrasound examinations.
- Provide technical assistance to Radiologists.
- Maintain, operate, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment.
- Prepare and examine patients according to established procedures.
- Ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Capture images onto PACS and transfer to physicians' workstations.
- Assist in orientation and mentoring of new Ultrasound personnel.
- Handle scheduling and communication tasks related to examinations.
- Follow safety precautions to protect patients and personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software.
Shift
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
