Inpatient Occupational Therapist

Location: Kankakee, Illinois
Shift: Days
Schedule: 4x10s, Friday through Monday
Hours: 40 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Provide occupational therapy care for rehab and acute-level patients, with a typical caseload of 8–10 patients per day. Patient populations include neuro, ortho, med surg, and rehab.

Required Qualifications

  • BLS certification
  • Occupational Therapist role

Schedule and Work Conditions

  • Weekend coverage required
  • No holiday coverage required
  • Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Dress code: scrubs

Team and Support

  • OT manager/supervisor available during the day
  • Rehab support includes COTAs and rehab techs

Orientation

  • Day 1 HR orientation
