Job Overview
- Specialty: Pediatric Sleep Tech / Polysomnographic Technologist
- Location: Fargo, North Dakota
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday
- Hours: 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Polysomnographer (2 years of experience)
- Polysomnographer experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- RPSGT
- Experience working with Neonate or Pediatric patients
Job Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic polysomnographic studies
- Perform titration studies
- Perform multiple sleep latency tests
- Perform maintenance of wakefulness tests
- Record and provide accurate data to physicians for diagnosis and treatment of sleep/wake disorders
Additional Details
- Call is not required
- Weekends are not required
- The employee may be the only pediatric sleep tech on site, but other adult sleep techs will be scheduled
- The unit has 2 pediatric beds
- Dark gray scrubs are required
- Computerized charting is used
- Natus software is used for sleep studies
- Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced client rate
