• 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Contract Length

• 18 weeks

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• OR circulating experience
• ACLS
• BLS
• NRP

Assignment Details

• Float to postpartum as needed
• Weekend shifts required
• No call or standby requirement for travel RNs

Unit Information

• Labor and delivery, postpartum, and triage beds available
• Active labor, postpartum, gestational hypertension, and gestational diabetes are common patient types
• RN titration of drips is required
• Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin are used as titratable or set-rate drips
• Two surgical techs are available 24/7
• OB and neonatology coverage are in house 24/7, with 24-hour anesthesia coverage
• No telemetry on the unit
• Obix is used for fetal monitoring

Additional Notes

• Experience in a high-risk, Level 3 facility is preferred
• Travelers with license hits related to diverting medications or endangerment will not be accepted
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Jackets and scrubs are provided for Labor & Delivery nurses
