Unit Details
- 61 combined beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights
- Common patient types include surgical and medical patients
- Telemetry is used; monitor tech reads strips and the RN confirms
- Respiratory equipment available includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow
Schedule Requirements
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- Call or standby required
- Floating required
Additional Information
- No charge nurse or house supervisor
- No nurse aides on the unit
- 12-hour shifts
- Any scrub color is allowed
- Unit-specific orientation is provided
