• OB unit role caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maine
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate
• STABLE
• AWHONN
• C-EFM
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Post Partum experience

Responsibilities

• Provides holistic, individualized nursing care using the nursing process
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
• Performs general and unit-specific clinical skills
• Manages supplies and equipment
• Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel in the unit and other hospital departments
• Adheres to standards of nursing practice and hospital policies
• Maintains confidentiality and supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization
