Overview

• Travel RN position in Florence, Alabama
• Specialty: Critical Care Stepdown
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Call: none
• Float: possibly to med-surg, but not likely
• Weekly orientation on Mondays

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Cardiac drips experience
• Chest tube experience

Preferred Experience

• Critical care stepdown/PCU experience
• Experience with cardiac drips, chest tubes, and TR bands

Unit Details

• 31-bed unit
• Patient ratio: 1:4-1:5
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Common cases include post vascular, post CABG, CVA, respiratory failure, heart failure, and chest pain/post cath lab

• Must be kind, respectful, a team player, punctual, and flexible
• Scrub color: royal blue
