Registered Nurse (Rehabilitation) - Travel Assignment

Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend rotation
Call Requirement: Must call in as soon as possible or at least 3 hours before shift starts

Job Summary

Provide specialized nursing care in a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital focused on patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The role involves delivering customized, intense rehabilitation nursing tailored to individual patient needs within a CARF-accredited program.

Rehabilitation patients
Common diagnoses include stroke, amputation, and medical-surgical conditions

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation nursing experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in skilled nursing
Strong customer service skills
