RN Float

Overview

• Adult inpatient nursing resource team role on nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Start options: 9/21 or 10/12.
• Patient age group: Adult.
• Unit size: 200 medical/surgical beds and a 26-bed Critical Care Unit.
• Level III Trauma Center.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Idaho.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• 2 years of float experience.
• Float experience within the last year.
• 2 or more years of total travel experience.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
• MAB or CPI.
• Driver's License.
• Experience with cardiac drips.
• Experience with non-invasive ventilation.
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience.
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience.
• CVICU experience.

Preferred

• NIHSS.

Float Scope

• May float to inpatient Adult Behavioral Health.
• May float to ED with Psych experience.
• May float to PCU.
• May float to Med/Surg.
• May float to the ED to take boarded med/surg patients.
• May float mid-shift.
• Does not float to ICU or Women’s & Children’s Units.

Other Assignment Details

• EPIC.
• Float/on-call as needed.
• Weekly orientation.
• Behavioral Health certs and classes are provided on site.
