Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Medical/Surgical specialty for a long-term assignment in Wichita, Kansas.

Required Qualifications

• License: Current, active RN license verified through Nursys within 30 days prior to assignment start.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
• Experience: Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; assume standard for Medical/Surgical RN roles.
• Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of professional resume/profile and at least two professional references prior to assignment.
  • Current driver’s license or state ID matching address on file.
  • Must pass a 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter.
  • Must complete required onboarding education and competency assessments including core competencies, EKG exam, and skills checklist relevant to specialty.
  • Health requirements including:

    • MMR vaccination or positive titer
    • Varicella vaccination or immunity verification
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
    • Influenza vaccine (seasonal, with mask requirement if declined)
    • Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years
    • TB screening with 2-step PPD or IGRA and chest X-ray if positive
    • Fit test for respiratory protection (updated annually)
    • Statement of good health or physical exam prior to assignment and annually thereafter
  • Background checks including criminal background, EPLS, and employment verification within the last 7 years.

Onboarding & Compliance

• Must complete facility-specific onboarding requirements including education attestations and competency testing.
• Must complete and pass the Ascension EKG exam with a minimum score of 80%.
• Must complete Cerner system test-out and training checklist.
• Must provide a forward-facing badge photo with a white or blue background.
