Location: Florence, South Carolina
Employment Type: LTA
Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview

Provide labor and delivery nursing care, including patient assessment, age-specific interventions, and support for patients, families, and visitors. The role also includes precepting and mentoring novice staff, participating in evidence-based practice initiatives, floating to like units as needed, and performing other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP issued by American Heart Association
Driver's License

Onboarding / Compliance Requirements

Primary source license/certificate verification
MMR immunity documentation
Hepatitis B immunity documentation
2-step PPD or IGRA/TB test documentation
Varicella immunity documentation
Drug screen completed within 30 days of start
Criminal background check completed within 60 days of start and covering the last 7 years
Confirmation of assignment form

Notes

References are preferred but not required.
Fit test and influenza vaccine are listed as optional items.
