Geriatric Behavioral Health RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Brookville, Pennsylvania
• 13-week assignment
• Rotating between two units if needed; main unit is Medical Surgical
• Other unit is Senior Transitions Unit (STU), a locked medical geriatric psychiatric unit for patients age 55 and above
• Rotating shifts
• Day or night 3x12 schedule: 7:00–19:00 or 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday
• First timers accepted
• No locals accepted within a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Psychiatric experience within the last year
• 1 year of psychiatric experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute

• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or acceptable documentation
• Breathalyzer test required, except at Brookville
