Job Overview

• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Patient ratio: 1:4–1:8 (team nursing)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Float experience

Preferred

• ACLS

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Every other weekend required
• Float position; clinician will float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• First-time travelers accepted
• No on-call requirement
• RTO of 5 days or less is preferred

• Unit-specific skills checklist within 1 year of start
• Background check

• Fingerprinting in Pennsylvania
• Child abuse search
• Drug screen
• Physical exam
• Respirator fit test

• TB screening and questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu, and COVID documentation or exemptions as specified
• Annual training and required RN modules
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
• Suicide precautions quiz answer sheet for RNs
