Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Unit is an Emergency Department with admitted patients making up a large portion of the census
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience
Preferred
- Travel experience strongly preferred
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- 2+ years Level I experience may be considered if travel experience is present
Clinical Details
- Ratios: 1:5
- Medication administration, including IV medication via the seven medication rights
- Document and communicate clinical findings
Float Scope
- May float to Peds ED
- Expected to float to Adult PCUs based on staffing needs
- May also float to ED Holding and Trauma DOE
Scheduling Notes
- Weekend shifts as needed
- No block schedule
- No on-call
Additional Notes
- Christmas RTO is no longer allowed
- RTO greater than 7 days needs approval
- COVID vaccine is optional
- Cerner is used for charting
- Parking is free
