Overview

Travel/Contract role in Salem, Oregon
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
36 hours per week
16-week assignment
ASAP start
General CVCU/ICU/PCU division with constant floating between units
Blended cardiovascular unit with 18 CVICU beds and 12 CVIMCU beds

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
CVICU (2 years of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
2 years of Telemetry experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience with Epic
NURSYS Verification for RN within 30 days of start
References: 2 references within the last 2 years of employment history showing 1 year in a comparable specialty, with at least one supervisory reference within the last 12 months

Unit Details

Cardiovascular intensive care unit caring for patients 16 years and older with primary cardiac diagnoses
Common care includes heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, cardiothoracic surgery, IABP therapy, Impella insertion, post PCI, pacemaker insertion, ablation, arrhythmia, STEMI/NSTEMI, and EKOS
Strong cardio experience needed
Training is provided for intra-abdominal balloon pump, continuous renal replacement therapy, targeted temperature management, and ventricular assist devices
