Registered Nurse – MS/Tele Float (Travel/Contract)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (4 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 48

Job Summary

Float nurse position requiring coverage on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
Must be agreeable to floating to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away with lower acuity patients.
Unit patient populations include Infectious Disease, Hospice/Palliative Care, Oncology, Cardiac Acute/Med Care, Post-Surgical, Bariatric, Urology, Neurology, and Orthopedics.
Coverage includes 12 weekend shifts per contract, working every other weekend.
Patient ratio experience required: 1:6.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona.
Minimum 1.5 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year.
One completed travel nursing assignment.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
