Registered Nurse - CVICU

Location: Quincy, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
Experience in CVICU or CVU is acceptable.
Local candidates are welcome.
Weekend block options available (FSS or SSM).

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Experience in Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) also accepted.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
