Job Opportunity: Lactation Consultant
Location: La Jolla, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Requirements
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of Maternal-Newborn experience, with recent experience within the last year
- Lactation RN experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Summary
This is a 13-week travel contract for a Lactation Consultant in California with a day shift schedule totaling 36 hours per week. Candidates must meet strict background, health, immunization, and competency requirements. The role requires flexibility to work an additional overtime shift every two weeks. References and licensure must be current and verifiable. Compliance with all facility-specific training and documentation is mandatory.
