Job Opportunity: Outpatient Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Abilene, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Job Description

  • Outpatient Occupational Therapist role
  • Must have experience working with both pediatric and adult neuro patients
  • Typical schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (may vary as needed)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
  • Experience working with pediatric patients
  • Experience working with adult patients

Compliance & Background Requirements

  • Background Check: 7-year check required within 1 year of start; must be updated annually
  • E-Verify or Attestation required
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
  • Education Verification (highest level) required
  • State-specific checks for Texas (DADS Employability Status Check and Employee Misconduct Registry) within 30 days of start

Health & Safety Requirements

  • Physical Exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract)
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start (PPD or equivalent)
  • Required vaccinations or positive titers for:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B (series, positive titer, or declination)
    • Varicella
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
    • Seasonal Flu Vaccine (required during flu season; exemptions accepted)
  • Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen including THC within 10 business days prior to start; no pending results allowed
  • Fit Mask: Required (3M 1860 Regular or 1860S), must be updated annually
