Job Description

Seeking an RN Educator for the Family Birthplace Unit with a focus on educating operating room circulation for C-sections. Candidates must have very high proficiency in Labor & Delivery (L&D) or circulating and C-sections. Note that straight L&D RNs without OR circulation experience for C-sections will not be considered.

Requirements

Experience & Education

• Minimum 3+ years current RN Educator experience in the perinatal field (required)
• Experience educating circulating in the OR for C-sections (required)
• BSN or higher degree (required)
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications must be in hand and uploaded with profile
• Massachusetts RN license must be in hand and uploaded with profile
• Facility will not pend licenses or certifications after offer

Additional Requirements

• Must include permanent address with profile submission
• Must have own vehicle for assignment
• Provide work history and skills checklist (pertinent to position, current within 1 year)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• COVID-19 vaccination required (dose date on or after 10/3/23) or approved exemption with mask-wearing on site
• No more than 3 days of requested time off during assignment; requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be approved after profile upload
• At least two specific interview dates/times must be provided (no "anytime" availability accepted)
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered

Orientation & Work Conditions

• 8 hours non-billable orientation
• Holiday and overtime multipliers apply
• Facility requires mask wearing if COVID exemption is approved
