CT Scan Technologist

Role Summary

Performs CT imaging procedures, including patient preparation, contrast administration, image review, and support for interventional and therapeutic procedures.

Schedule

• Weekend nights
• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Holidays, weekends, and on-call coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Jersey
• CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from a radiologic technologist program

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of CT experience
• 6 months of CT experience
• CT certification
• Experience with post-processing

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex CT procedures
• Review patient history and prepare documentation for imaging workflows
• Administer contrast media as prescribed
• Verify exam appropriateness and clarify prescriptions when needed
• Obtain outside studies and coordinate comparison imaging
• Provide patient instructions and monitor for adverse reactions
• Perform venipuncture, IV patency, and IV maintenance procedures

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 25 lbs
• Push and pull up to 50 lbs
• Stand for at least 6 hours per day
