Contract

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift, 10-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Occasional weekends
• On-call nights and weekends
• Must be within 30 minutes for call

Job Summary

• Performs diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams under physician direction to help identify abnormalities and support patient diagnosis.

Required Qualifications

• Echo Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• ARDMS or CCI
• RDCS
• RCS
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and obtain informed consent and clinical history as needed
• Review patient history, select protocols, explain the exam, and position the patient
• Perform diagnostic techniques and interventions as needed
• Review completed tests for quality and completeness
• Document and communicate patient information accurately
• Coordinate handoff between shifts
• Monitor equipment reliability and safety
• Order and stock supplies, clean rooms and equipment, and transport patients as needed
• Participate in quality initiatives
• Perform other assigned duties
