Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of oncology experience
• Oncology experience within the last year
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Infusion experience
• Experience with Epic
• ONS/ONCC certification

Experience and Clinical Skills

• Chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions
• Blood product administration
• IV iron, fluids, and electrolytes
• Port lab draws and injections
• Patient and family education and emotional support
• Epic experience

Role Overview

• Provides clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
• Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
• Works with interdisciplinary teams and supports patient assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and education
