Overview

Role: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit
Specialty / unit: 2N Cardiac Care ICU
Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
Schedule: 12-hour days, 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of CVICU experience
CVICU experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS

Preferred Qualifications

CCRN

Unit Details

20-bed specialized cardiac care ICU
Provides care for patients needing open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries
Special equipment includes intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers

Scheduling Expectations

Schedule varies, 7A-7P
Must work 2 major holidays out of 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
Must work 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
