Job Overview

Travel RN position in Winchester, Virginia
Specialty: Pre-Op/Post-Op (PACU)
Contract length: 26 weeks
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Shift hours: 9:00a–9:00p

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pre-Op experience
Experience with Epic

Schedule Expectations

Weekend coverage: 1 weekend Sat/Sun, 2x12s 7:00a–7:00p per month
On-call: 2nd call, 1 weekend per month from 7:00p–7:00a
Holiday coverage preferred for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

16 beds
Patient ratio: 2:1
Float to sister units as needed
On-campus surgery center coverage as case volume shifts

Patient Population

Geriatric patients, starting at 6 months

Titrate drips
