Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Contract Details

• Travel assignment
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Call shifts: 2 per scheduled period
• Hours per week: 36

Job Description

• Provide nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care for Labor and Delivery patients.
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arkansas
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP

• Night shift with weekend and call responsibilities
