Registered Nurse (CVICU) - Travel Position

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), step-down/progressive care (E4), and Cath lab recovery areas.
Must be capable of managing ECMO, LVAD, and Cath lab recovery patients.
Orientation includes a 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour floor shift.
Tobacco use is prohibited on all campus properties, including personal vehicles in designated parking areas.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, including experience within the last year
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

Dress code for RNs: navy, white, or a combination of navy and white scrub colors.
Timekeeping instructions involve specific clock-in/out codes for various shift types and activities.

This position is a travel assignment requiring specialized critical care nursing skills in cardiovascular and cath lab recovery settings.
