Position Summary

• Role: Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR Tech) specializing in CST/ORT
• Unit: Surgical Services
• Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• On-call requirement: 6-13 on-call shifts within a 4-week period, including weekends and holidays
• Float requirements: Must float to Vascular and Thoracic cases; may float to main OR if no vascular cases

Patient and Unit Information

• Patient population: Adult
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Unit beds: 2
• Equipment experience required: ECMO, MAZE, and IABP
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid CVOR Technologist license in Virginia (temporary license accepted while permanent license is pending)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NBSTSA certification

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Excel, Epic, Workday, and ShiftWizard

• Scrub color: Ciel Blue
• Must adhere to employer dress code policy

This position requires a skilled CVOR Tech with experience in cardiovascular surgical technology and the ability to work varied shifts including on-call coverage. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia and comfortable working with specialized cardiovascular equipment.
