Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
CST
High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

2 or more years of experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

Assist with pre-operative and intraoperative patient care in the operating room
Prepare the operating room, instruments, and supplies for surgical cases
Maintain aseptic technique and the sterile field
Pass instruments and sutures to the physician
Transport patients to and from the operating room
Position patients for surgery
Handle biological specimens
Support decontamination, processing, and sterilization of instruments and supplies
