Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Location: Bottineau, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday

Facility & Unit Details

48-bed facility
Nurse staffing ratios: Typically 2 nurses per 48 residents (1 LPN on 12-hour shift and 1 certified medication aide on 10-hour shift), with 1 RN Unit Manager present during the day (8-10 hour shift)
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: PCC
Common patient diagnoses include dementia, heart disease, COPD, chronic kidney disease (CKD), and depression

Required Qualifications

Current RN license valid in North Dakota
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Additional Information

No on-call or call-back responsibilities
Backouts or quits with less than 14 days’ notice incur a $500 fee
Weekend and holiday shifts are scheduled every other occurrence

Local pay rates apply within 80 miles or if using employer housing (not included here)
