Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Blanding, Utah
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a travel contract. The role involves working primarily in Labor & Delivery, Maternal Medicine, Postpartum, and Obstetrics units with an average of 120-130 births per year. The nurse must be willing to float to MedSurg as needed.

Work Schedule

• Night shifts (6pm – 6am)
• 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week

Unit Details

• Labor & Delivery beds: 3
• Postpartum beds: In-room with 2 overflow rooms
• No in-house OB/Neonatologist; family practice coverage only
• No 24/7 Respiratory Therapist; CRNA utilized if needed
• On-call pharmacy available
• Shared CNA support for MedSurg and L&D

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Active Utah RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Additional Information

• EMR system: Athena
• Fetal Heart Monitoring system: PeriCalm
• Scrub color: Any solid color
• Must be willing to float to MedSurg unit as needed
