Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Location
- Eau Claire, Wisconsin
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- Nights
- 4x10-hour shifts
- Monday through Thursday, 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM
Required Qualifications
- Active RN role in the operating room
- 2+ years of operating room experience
- Stat C-section experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Job Details
- Charge nurse role overnight
- Scrubbing is not required for RNs
- Possible weekend call
- Holiday call required
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- Possible floating to OSC
- Orientation includes shadowing the night RN for the first couple of shifts
Unit Information
- 7 suites plus 1 C-section suite
- Average daily case volume: 15–25
- Common cases include general surgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, podiatry, hand, DaVinci, urology, gynecology, and C-sections
Additional Notes
- Local candidates within 80 miles are subject to a reduced rate
- Scrub color is provided; personal OR shoes are required
