Job Description

The physical therapist works with patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients according to established physical therapy practice guidelines and state regulations, within the parameters of the patient's insurance. The goal is to alleviate discomfort, restore function, and provide education on prevention and wellness.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with EPIC EHR system is required.
• Access to reliable transportation is necessary due to limited public transportation in the rural area.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Diploma, BS, or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Experience: Past experience in orthopedic physical therapy preferred; new graduates and specialists meeting business needs will be considered.
• Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Colorado State Physical Therapist license.
• Certifications: Current CPR certification required.
• Background Check: Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required.
