Job Description

• General Duties:

  • Perform a variety of imaging protocols to support operations of a Level 1 Trauma center, including adult and pediatric ER.
  • Conduct protocols to comply with certified stroke center, non-contrast, contrast, and angiography.
  • May perform studies to support interventional procedures.

• Equipment Utilized:

  • Philips CT
  • Philips PACS
  • Cerner charting

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years as a CT technologist with trauma experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking skills to make adjustments for optimal diagnostic imaging.
  • Professional demeanor in high-energy environments.

• Licensures and Certifications:

  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Current BLS certification.

Schedule

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 3 PM to 11:30 PM
• On-Call: No on-call required.
• Floating: No floating to other units or departments.

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Charcoal or black scrubs.
• Training: One day of online training and orientation with the manager, followed by on-the-job training with a technologist.
