Exercise Physiologist (Cardiac Rehab) – Temp

Job Description

• Assess patient health indicators such as blood pressure, oxygen usage, and heart rhythms before, during, and after physical exertion.
• Design customized exercise programs targeting clinical recovery, weight management, or athletic performance.
• Educate patients and families on lifestyle changes to prevent or manage chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and physical therapists to integrate exercise therapy into comprehensive patient care plans.
• Note: A strict attendance policy is enforced; three absences or late arrivals (over 20 minutes) may result in immediate termination, with exceptions for documented illness or hospitalization.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Michigan
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or physiology
• Experience as a Rehabilitation Therapist
