Overview

• Med Surg / Med Surg/Telemetry RN assignment.
• Traveler may float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Traveler will float to the Stepdown unit as needed.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6.
• NBO: 16 hours.
• EMR: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois.
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver’s License.
• Work history/resume.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date.
• License verification.
• Copy of required certifications.
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Stepdown/Cardiac experience.

Schedule / Assignment Details

• 12-hour shifts.
• Summer holidays: traveler will be required to work 1-2 of Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
