Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Kingsport, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Schedule: 36/36 (36 hours on, 36 hours off)
Every other weekend required
No call duties
Required to float between units
Must live within 100 miles of the facility
General orientation includes 16 hours of non-billable time, starting on Sundays (online CBLs)
Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without penalty due to census changes
Additional shifts may be available as overtime and are flexible based on census/resource needs
Expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee with NURSYS verification
Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical (MedSurg) nursing experience, including Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
National Tech Certification verification
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
State License 1 Verification
