Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: Fenton, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Work in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
• Perform cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, laser-assisted procedures, scrub procedures, temporary pacemaker placement, scrub STEMI procedures, IVUS/IFR/FFR
• 10 call shifts per month including 1-2 weekends of call
• Scrubs provided
• Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• ARRT certification
• Experience performing cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, laser-assisted procedures, temporary pacemaker placement, scrub STEMI procedures, and IVUS/IFR/FFR
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Requirements & Information

• Must complete all required facility-specific documents and orientation checklists during or shortly after orientation
• Two professional references required for new candidates
• Background checks include SSN trace, 7-year county residence/work history, nationwide search, and sex offender search
• Missouri-specific Family Care Safety Registry and EDL search required prior to start
• Candidates will be fit tested for respirator masks onsite during the first week of orientation; fit test results must be submitted to agency within two weeks of start date
• Medication/pharmacology competency exams and skills checklists may be required
• Call shifts include 1-2 weekends per month
