Job Overview

Specialty: Surgical Services
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend shift per 4-week schedule period
On-Call Requirement: Up to 4 call shifts per 4-week schedule period
Floating: Required within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units/sister facilities
First-Timers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
NBSTSA certification
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Radiation badge required; must be provided by the agency
Ability to work in a Level I trauma setting

Clinical Setting

Main operating room in a level-one academic trauma center
Cases may include ortho, neuro, ENT, robotics, transplants/procurements, trauma/burns, and GU/GYN
Candidate may be expected to staff the full range of cases supported by the Main OR

Additional Notes

Holiday rotation required
Block scheduling may be considered with manager approval
Local candidates are accepted
Scrubs are provided
EPIC is used for charting
