Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
Contract length: 20 weeks
Floating is required between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health
Local candidates are accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

TNCC

Schedule and Assignment Details

Unit accepts contracts between 20 and 26 weeks
Weekend requirement is at least 4 weekend days per 6-week time track, and may be every other weekend
Unit orientation is 24 hours
Scrubs: navy/white

Additional Notes

RTO after booking is not allowed
Additional call-offs or RTO on unit may result in cancellation and DNR
EKG competency exam is required for this RN specialty
