Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia.
• 13 weeks.
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Rotating call every 4th week.
• 50-mile radius rule applies.
• Open to later start dates.

Role Details

• Imaging support in the OR working vascular IR.
• Need is for a tech, not a nurse.
• The role involves active participation throughout the case workflow, including pulling inventory, running the table and controls, performing 3D spins, working with fusion technology, filming, post-processing images, and documenting inventory used during the case.
• The assignment also includes supporting simple surgical cases with a C-arm during downtime, including Impellas and cystos.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia.
• Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1 year of experience.
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ARRT.
• Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures.
• Experience with 3D imaging.
• Experience with fusion technology.
• Experience with HI-IQ documentation system.
• Experience with the C-arm.
• Experience with Epic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong vascular/IR experience.
• Ability to work independently.
