Job Opportunity: Certified Sterile Processing Technician

Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Description

Efficiently process instruments and sterilize medical devices according to established priorities, device instructions for use (IFUs), and best practices.
Receive and process instruments from the decontamination area.
Perform routine physical and environmental duties including cleaning workspaces, instrument rooms, cabinets, emptying biohazard waste, monitoring sterilizers, and checking environmental monitors.
Complete sterilization processes and perform high-level disinfection.
Operate all OR sterilization and processing equipment.
Prioritize and organize workload; work independently with consistent supervision.
Perform other essential instrument room duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician, including experience within the last year
Certification: CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management OR Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician issued by The Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution

This position involves pediatric instrumentation and processing.
