Registered Nurse - Ortho/Ortho Trauma
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 3rd shift (night)
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week (every other weekend)
Floating: May float as needed to related units
Job Summary
Provide nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for adult patients in an inpatient orthopedic/ortho trauma setting. Care delivery aligns with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 1 year of orthopedics nursing experience within the last year
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in patient care management
Additional Information
- Work schedule includes 12-hour night shifts every other weekend
- Flexibility to float to related orthopedic units as needed
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in orthopedic/ortho trauma nursing (implied by clinical competence requirement)
- No prior travel experience explicitly required
