RN Oncology - Pediatrics

Location

  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • 8-hour shifts

Overview

  • Hospital-based nursing role providing care for patients with a range of health problems, from simple to complex.
  • Core duties include patient assessment and monitoring, medication administration, IV and blood product management, documentation, assisting with procedures, patient/family education, care coordination, and delegation to support staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma
  • Oncology experience within the last year
  • 1 year of oncology experience
  • Pediatric Hematology / Oncology experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • APHON Chemotherapy certification
