Registered Nurse — Emergency Room

Location

Wausau, Wisconsin

Contract

Travel assignment
13 weeks
Start date: ASAP
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Schedule

12-hour day/night rotation
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Every other weekend and every other holiday

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
TNCC
PALS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
At least 3 months of prior travel experience
Experience with Epic

Additional Job Details

Primary location: Emergency Department
May float to Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
On-call requirement: 12 hours in a 6-week period
Response time for call: 30 minutes
Call-back minimum: 2 hours
Low census may result in being placed on call
Fast-paced unit with 18 beds
Epic charting
RNs draw labs and perform neb treatments
Scrub color: any color

Compliance / Policy Notes

Flu and COVID vaccination refusal requires masking at all times during flu season
Policy compliance is mandatory
