Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Overview

Required Qualifications

• Current work experience
• 2-3 years of current experience in NICU bedside respiratory care
• Experience functioning independently at bedside and managing ventilated patients
• Familiarity with the Servo U ventilator and its modes used in the NICU setting
• Respiratory therapist license/certificate verification required
• BLS
• PALS
• NRP

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of the Drager ventilator
• Knowledge of the Bunnell Jet Vent
• Knowledge of the Sensormedic 3100A oscillator
• Knowledge of nitric oxide

Onboarding Requirements

• MMR documentation
• Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or declination
• TB test within 12 months before start
• Varicella documentation
• Physical/health statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA
• Unexpired government-issued photo ID if required for the position
• Background check
• Employment verification for the previous 7 years
• 2 manager/supervisor references
