Job Overview

• This position requires comfort and experience working across three specialties: Medical/Surgical (MS), Telemetry (Tele), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• The facility is a small, rural 25-bed hospital with a 24/7 emergency department.
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 5:1, with higher acuity PCU patients at 3:1 or 4:1.
• Dress code: personal scrubs of any color.
• Must be able to work independently and "hit the ground running."
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Hampshire
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience, with Telemetry experience within the last year
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
• Basic dysrhythmia test certification
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Experience Preferences

• Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience working in rural or small facility settings is highly preferred.

Scheduling and Time Off

• Shift: Days, 12 hours per day.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at the time of application; no scheduling requests will be approved after submission or during the interview process.
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted (less is preferred).
• No block scheduling or schedule accommodations allowed.

Additional Notes

• No non-billable orientation or holiday multipliers apply.
• Call and call-back pay is not applicable for this assignment.
• A 48-hour guaranteed time off is not available for this need.
• Candidates cannot work concurrently with another permanent or travel assignment.

This role is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable with multiple specialties in a small, rural hospital setting who can work independently and adhere strictly to scheduling policies.
