Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) (Days)

Job Description

• Provide immediate assessment and support to patients admitted to the emergency room.
• Identify medical issues, determine severity, and intervene to minimize long-term negative effects or sustain life.
• Act as one of the first responders in emergency situations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Current Oklahoma RN license or compact license.
• BLS (AHA), NIH Stroke Scale certification, ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• TNCC certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent travel nursing experience preferred.

Additional Information

• Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
• On-call pay is provided at a set hourly rate with a minimum of one hour.
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
• Candidates must provide:

  • Work history and skills checklist current within 1 year relevant to ER nursing.
  • Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years.
  • Permanent address information.
• Non-compete: Former direct employees are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
