Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Med Surg / Telemetry (Rotating)

Job Description

• Provide compassionate, quality nursing care focused on patients and their families.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care according to professional nursing standards and facility policies.
• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered.
• Define, implement, and improve practice standards and the care environment.
• Promote exceptional patient care.
• Duties may vary based on assigned unit; clinicians are expected to float regularly to Med Surg.
• Work with adult patient population.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current ACLS certification
• Med Surg and Telemetry experience
• Experience working with adult patients
• At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records system

Additional Information

• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs.
• Nonbillable hours: 4 hours per assignment.
• Local travel policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of the facility.
• Candidates must list prior work history with this health system or related entities on their resume.
